Our school was last inspected by Ofsted in April 2015 when we were delighted to be judged outstanding in all areas.

Section 48 Religious Inspection

Our last Section 48 Inspection was in September 2018 when our provision for RE, Catholic Lifa and Collective Worship were once again judged to be outstanding.

Some findings from the report included:

  • The school leaders and governors make the promotion of the Catholic Life of the school their highest priority.
  • All pupils experience a rich and effective Catholic education.
  • Due to the vision of the headteacher and deputy headteacher, the subject of Religious Education is highly valued in the school and is seen as 'a subject like no other'.
  • Pupils make very good progress in Religious Education and for many pupils this progress is outstanding.
  • The uplifting and vibrant prayer life of the school sustains the whole community.
  • The school’s links with the parish are very strong.
