Local Governing Body

As Representatives we work hard to support all our Staff as they strive to help our children reach their full potential.

Our task involves:

  • Performance and progress monitoring of our children.
  • Working and supporting staff.
  • Looking at and resources and best use of them.
  • Forward planning for continued progress of school.

The Local Governing Board meets at least once a term. If needed extra meetings are arranged. Since Academy status the strategic committees are part of the Board of Directors role.

The Local Governing Body comprises of Foundation Representatives (Church), Staff and Parents. Some of the representatives are Directors.

No member of the Academy Committee has any Financial or Business interest in the academy. Only where stated is a representative part of the governing body of another school or academy.

The Board of Directors

The Board of Directors are responsible for the governance of the entire academy. They oversee the work of the Academy Committee.
