Event - Year 4's Indian Workshop

22 March 2012

To conclude our 'Village in India' topic, we held an Indian workshop for our parents. From the smiles on their faces, we can safely assume that they enjoyed it even more than the children.

We had Indian henna applied to our hands using the mehndi patterns we had studied in class.

We showed our parents the instruments we had made during our topic on India.

The elephant is a religious and sacred animal for Hindus.

We used traditional Indian pulses to create rangoli patterns.
