Event - Shorts and Shades Day

On Thursday 21st June St Joseph's celebrated Shorts and Shades Day. Shorts and Shades Day is a fund raising event for Mary Stevens Hospice, where children could wear their shorts and shades to school in exchange for a small donation to charity.
In addition to taking part in the day, we also held a special balloon release. Children throughout the school bought money to support Mary Stevens Hospice and buy a balloon to release during the afternoon in memory of one of our parents Mrs Julie Turner who died earlier this year.
