Event - Dudley Primary School Debate
3 February 2012
On Friday 3rd February, Year 6 took part in a debate at Dudley Council Chamber with three other schools.
We had to propose the motion that all schools should grow their own fruit and vegetables and the children provided many arguments for the motion including reducing food miles, developing their own education as well as the obvious financial benefits. They were given the opportunity to cross examine the other school to make their points. Many of their ideas came from the experience they had from running their own eco garden in school.
