Event - Safer Internet Day
7 February 2012
On Tuesday 7th February the whole school took part in Safer Internet day where a variety of activities were undertaken by different classes.
Our photos show Year 6 designing board games based around the idea of SMART use of the internet. That's:
- S for Security – never give your personal details to some one, if you don't know who they are.
- M is for Meeting – don't meet anyone as a result of a conversation online. If you are sure they are safe, always take a parent with you to be safe.
- A is for Accept – never accept files or e mails from people if you don't know who they are.
- R is for Reliable – always check information on the internet with another source to make sure you can rely on it as some sites don't always tell the truth.
- T is for tell – if you are worried about something you see on the internet, or someone is mean to you online, tell an adult so that something can be done about it.
