Event - Mission Week Friendship Festival

31 March 2017

On Friday 31st March we completed our Mission Week in school with some excellent dance performances in our Friendship Festival.

During the week the children had taken part in dancing, acting, watching performances, sign language and music all connected to our mission statement ‘At St Joseph’s we work, learn and grow together guided by Jesus’ teachings’ our motto ‘Kind hands, kind words... like Jesus’ and our values of Truth, Forgiveness, Respect, Equality and Kindness.

It was a lovely day in school celebrating Mission Week with some fantastic performances.

Nursery began with Toy Story’s 'You’ve got a friend in me'.
Reception class danced to ‘I’ll be there for you’.

Year 1 danced to ‘You raise me up’.
Umbrella was the song Year 2 chose to perform to!

Year 3 perforned to ‘Man in the mirror’.
Year 4 danced to ‘Count on me’.

Year 5 performed to ‘We’re all in this together’.
Finally Year 6 performed a thoughtful role play to ‘Next to me’ sharing the Sacraments we receive through our lives from the very beginning to the very end.
