Event - International Link Day
9 June 2016
On Thursday 9th June we celebrated our first International Link Day with St Francis Xavier Primary school in Sandwell and SP118 in Poland.
During the day the children learnt lots about Poland including Polish food tasting, traditional Polish dancing and creating videos and powerpoints about Poland.
We also held two special International Link Day assemblies where children from all classes shared their learning with lots of parents and the rest of the school.
We also watched some of the special videos that SP118 had sent to us to share too!
Nursery children shared a nursery rhyme they have been learning in Polish. |
Reception shared some Polish words which they had been learning during the week. |

Year 1 performed a traditional Polish dance. |
Year 2 sang a song which SP118 had shared with our teachers during their visit to Poland and shared the food that we will be tasting later on today! |

Year 3 performed Old MacDonald had a farm in Polish. |
Year 4 shared lots of facts that they had found out about Poland. |

Year 5 performed a traditional Polish Dance. |
Year 6 shared some of the conversations they’d had with their friends in SP118 and shared a song about friendship which they had previously recorded and sent to Poland.. |
