Event - Anti-Bullying Week

12 to 16 November 2018

During the week beginning 12th November all of the children from St Joseph’s took part in the nationwide Anti-Bullying Week. The children also took part in the Stop Speak Support cyber-bullying day on Thursday.

During our Merit Assembly on Friday 16th November the children from Nursery all the way through to Year 6 shared the work they had completed during the week.

Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors also shared all of the things they had planned and delivered during the week.

Each class made a special Anti-Bullying promise/pledge on a brick. Each brick helps to make our Wall of Respect which will stay in the hall to remind us of all our work and learning during this week.

Well done everyone!

Nursery shared all their learning about how important it is to have kind hands.

Reception created gingerbread men which remind us that we are all different and all special.

Year 1 created lovely ‘Choose Respect’ bunting reminding us of how we should treat one another.

Year 2 created posters all about Hero’s – Helping Everyone Respect Others.

Year 3 Creating posters about how we can respect each other at home, at school and online.

Year 4 thought about how words can hurt us and bruise our hearts on the inside.
