Our Holocaust memorial Day assembly
On Monday 29th January we held a special assembly to learn all about Holocaust Memorial Day which was on Saturday 27th January.
We shared a PowerPoint to learn about the terrible events of the Holocaust and about a girl called Anne Frank.
We learned about the mistakes that happened during the Holocaust and how they must never again be repeated.
At the end of the Assembly we took time to share our own prayers, one Year 3 child shared their prayer of: ‘We pray that we can carry on loving one another as we do now and not ever go back to the way it was, Amen.’
