Lighting the first Advent candle
On Monday 4th December during our Gospel assembly where we share Sunday’s Gospel, we also celebrated the beginning of Advent.
To mark the beginning of Advent we lit the first candle on the Advent wreath – to mark the beginning of us getting our lives ready for when Jesus comes again.
