On Friday 22nd September Year 6M were visited by an employee of the British Army who works in the signal section, specialising in communications.
The children were fascinated to hear all about the different roles and responsibilities their visitor had and all the countries that he had visited.
At the end of the session the children were given a ration box – containing what a solider has to live on for 24 hours when on a mission.
The children had a great time and were very grateful to their special visitor for taking time out of his schedule to visit them!
