Year 3 performing their assembly
On Tuesday 9th April to mark the beginning of Holy Week in our school, the children from Year 3 presented their special assembly where they acted out the events of Palm Sunday for the rest of the children and their parents.
The children did a great job of showing how humble Jesus was by arriving into Jerusalem on a donkey and how people waved palms and shouted, “Hosanna” when they saw him.
One child commented, “Palm Sunday was happy, but we know that the happiness doesn’t last all week.”
