Our lovely school Mass
On Friday 8th March His Grace Archbishop Bernard Longley visited our school to celebrate Mass.
It was the children from the Mission Team who had written to the Archbishop to ask him to come and celebrate Mass in our school as it had been 6 years since he last came!
Year 4 lead our whole school Mass with the Archbishop, Father Dominic and Father Louis. Year 4 did a wonderful job of reading, acting and leading the offertory too.
Following Mass the Archbishop stayed in school and visited every class to spend some time with the children.
It was a very special day in our school and we are very grateful to the Archbishop for coming to celebrate Mass for us at St Joseph’s.
