On Monday 3rd December (our first day in school during Advent) we celebrated the beginning of our school tradition – the Jesse Tree!
Each day during Advent the whole school gathers together to learn all about Jesus’ ancestors. Following each story a symbol is placed on the Jesse Tree to remind us of Jesus’ ancestors.
Today we started with the creation story and then learned all about Adam and Eve. Although we have a new brightly lit Jesse Tree this year it is still bare – but it won’t stay like that for long!
Our Jesse Tree is on display in the school hall for everyone to enjoy along with a lovely advent wreath and statue of the Holy Family.
