On Wednesday 5th September we all gathering together in the hall to celebrate the Feast Day of St Teresa of Calcutta.
We watched a short video clip all about St Teresa’s life and discussed the type of person she was, why she was made a Saint and how she showed the values of being compassionate and loving – which are our values this half term.
The children shared ideas of how they could be more like St Teresa at school, in the playground and at home.
One Year 3 child said, “If we see someone hurt, we can make sure they are OK and take them to a teacher.”
