The children on their retreat day with Dan
On Thursday 21st June the children from Year 6 experienced a Confirmation Retreat day with Dan Callow.
The retreat day was organised to help them prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in July and the children spent the day reflecting, thinking about their faith and what it means to them along with looking closely at the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The day ended with a lovely prayer service which parents were invited to.
One child commented, “Today gave me the opportunity to reflect further on my faith and think about what Confirmation means to me.”
