On Friday 8th June we held a special Anti-Bullying, Anti-Racism and Internet Safety Assembly where each class shared some of the work they had completed during the week in school – more photos can be seen on our special events page!
It was wonderful to hear and see some of the exciting activities the children have been completing about being a good friend, what to do if they or someone they know is being bullying, how to mend a broken heart, how to stay safe online and much more!
We linked our work this week with the virtues we are leaning about this half term – attentive and discerning.
One child commented, “We can be attentive to Jesus as he sets us a good example and discerning in the choices we make being a friend to others.”
At the end of the assembly each class brought forward a set of keys which reminds us of the key to being a good friend!
Well done everyone!
