On Thursday 19th May the children from Year 3 took part in a special retreat day with Dan Callow as part of their preparation to receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion in just over a weeks time.
The children had a very reflective and spiritual day full of prayer and singing and held a special service which parents were invited to at the end of the day.
One child commented, “It’s been lovely to have a day thinking about how we will soon be receiving Jesus – I feel very happy.”
