On Wednesday 18th April, a group of Year 4 and Year 5 pupils from St Joseph’s were invited to attend a training day, along with pupils from other schools in the Dudley area, to be trained as Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. The children had the opportunity to network with other passionate young people where they were able to exchange ideas and share good practice. Children gained a deeper understanding of bullying, the facts and the effects of bullying. They gained basic training looking at the skills needed to support others and stay safe. They now have the knowledge and ability to lead some Anti-Bullying activities in school. Each child was presented with a certificate for their achievement.
The children had a fantastic day leaving them feeling inspired and full of more fantastic ideas. They even got to meet the Mayor of Dudley!
