Our Easter display
On Monday 16th April during our Gospel Assembly the children listened to all of the Easter Readings to understand what happened following Jesus’ crucifixion – how he was placed in a tomb and then rose from the dead.
We placed the golden footprints on the display at the front of the hall to represent Jesus walking away from the cross alive!
We also lit our school’s Paschal candle for the first time this Easter, reminding us that Jesus rose from the dead and is the light of the world – this will be lit during all of our gatherings.
