Year 5 acting out the events of The Agony in the Garden
On Wednesday 28th March it was the turn of Year 5 to share their Holy Week Assembly.
Year 5 presented the Agony in the Garden where after Jesus had prayed to his Father in Heaven he was betrayed by Judas and captured by the soldiers.
One child commented, “Jesus was human at this time, and understood how it felt to be let down. This reminds us that we are sometimes let down by others and sometimes we let others down, but it’s important to say sorry and forgive each other.”
