Ending our retreat day together!
Our beautiful retreat ended together in the hall. Thank you to One Life Music for a wonderful day and helping to open our hearts to see how we can make a difference in the world.

Mental Health Week

We are very proud of our special letter from Bridget Phillipson the Secretary of State for Education! The letter congratulates us on our excellent outcome for disadvantaged pupils!
Year 2 Mass
Thank you to Year 2 who led our whole school Mass this morning, celebrated by Fr Emmanuel. The children did a wonderful job of reading, acting and playing instruments to make Mass very special.
Creation Guardians
Creation Guardians have been busy planning and preparing for Spring in the Bible Garden. We talked about what we’d like to plant and today the seeds have arrived. Next week we’ll get our wellies on and start preparing the soil!! Screenshot
Safer Internet Day
For Safer Internet Day this week all of the children thought about how to stay safe online and how we can use AI safely and responsibly too!
NSPCC Rocks
Our children have been taking part in the NSPCC Rocks on TTRockstars challenge today! The children have 60 minutes to test their times table knowledge in the nationwide competition! Good luck everyone!
New School Award
We launched our new look school award this week! 'Forming Christ-centred pilgrims of hope with kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge, and a hunger for justice.
Year 1 Assembly
Thank you to Year 1 who led our assembly this morning. The children shared the Parable of The Lost Sheep and reminded us how we are all special, important and loved by God.
Mission Team
Our Mission Team conducted a school walk this week and gave feedback on the new additions to the Catholic Environment, The children think the new logo for St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust is 'really cool!'
Loudmouth – Helping Hands
Year 6 took part in Loudmouth Education and Training's Helping Hands workshop this morning. The children were learning about how to stay safe online and in person, and who to turn to if they need help.
Pupil Led Worship
What an AMAZING job our Year 6 group did of leading worship in KS2 today! Planned, prepared and delivered entirely by themselves and some excellent responses from the children - certainly school leaders of the future!
Year 3 Mass
Thank you to Year 3 and Fr Emmanuel who led our whole school Mass this morning. We reflected on the Gospel of Jarius' daughter and how that with God, nothing is impossible.
Candlemass
Well done and thank you to Year 2 who shared their assembly all about the Feast of Candlemass. The children read, acted and shared beautiful prayers perfectly.
Inspiring People
Our talented artists have completed the new additions for our Inspiring People gallery in the school hall. We have added St Faustina, Prince William, Ellie Simmonds, Pope John Paul II, Floella Benjamin, Benjamin Zephaniah, St Carlo Acutis and Malala Yousafzai.
Coding Workshop
A MASSIVE thank you to Primary Coding League who visited our school today! All of the children enjoyed their workshop and using their programming and coding skills!
Year 4 Prayer Service
Thank you to Year 4 who led our prayer service today. The children were so eloquent, mature and reverent in leading our worship. We continue to keep Fr Samy in our prayers and pray that he is back with us soon.
Talented Artists
Some of our talented artists have been busy sketching and painting some new portraits for our hall - inspiring people… inspired by God.
Care for Creation
In preparation for the better weather we installed some bee feeding stations today! The metal flowers help to brighten up the area around Pilgrim's Pond and, will the help of a marble in the centre, will provide a safe place for bees to take a drink in the summer!
