Summer Fair

Gurdwara Visit
Year 4 are having a lovely time at the Gurdwara today learning about Sikhism. The children have been very inquisitive, respectful and representing St Joseph's perfectly!

Year 6 Assembly
Thank you to Year 6 who, despite a very busy week, shared their assembly this morning all about talents! The children shared their own special talents and acted out the Parable of the Talents too. Well done children!

Confirmation Retreat
Thank you to Dan from One Life Music who led our Year 6 Confirmation retreat today. A beautiful day to reflect on our faith and the important Sacrament which children will be making next week!

Year 3’s Mass
Thank you to Year 3 who led our whole school Mass this week. The children shared to story of Jesus calming the storm - a reminder that when we have storms in our own lives Jesus will always be there for us.

Nursery visit Dudley Zoo!
Our Nursery children had a fabulous time at Dudley Zoo last week! They were very eager to share the news that they’d seen a tiger, a lion and a duck when they got back to school!

Islamic Experience
Year 6 had a lovely time at the Islamic Experience this week. As part of our learning about other faiths, the children learned about the key features of Islam. The children were very respectful and represented St Joseph's wonderfully.

Oscott College
Year 6 are having a wonderful time at Oscott College today. The children are learning so much and doing lots of exploring!

Year 1 Assembly
Well done to Year 1 who shared the parable of the Lost Sheep this morning - reminding us that we are never really lost. Jesus is always there.

Reflexions
Thank you to Reflexions who came to talk to our Year 6 children about their transition to secondary school today. The team talked about anxiety and stress and gave the children strategies they can use to cope.

Year 4 Trip!
Year 4 are having a wonderful time visiting the Canal Trust today! They are learning about the waterways, the canal boats and how to get through tunnels!

Staying Safe!

Computing Club
Our Computing Club has been very busy! The children have been using microbits and codeclub, some even pushing themselves to use python! We’re so proud of them!

Year 1 Trip
Year 1 had an amazing time at The Botanical Gardens. They looked at lots of different plants and flowers, had an animal handling session where the children loved stroking and holding different insects and reptiles! They also had a well deserved play in the playground...

Reception’s visit to the farm!
Reception class had a wonderful day at the farm today! They met lots of animals and learned so much about them! The coach journey was very quiet on the way back to school - lots of happy and tired children!

Year 5 Mass
Thank you to Year 5 who led our whole school Mass this week. The message was clear - love your enemies. We know we can’t do this on our own, we need Jesus’ strength and guidance to live out this mission.
