Year 3 had a great time visiting the Sealife Centre today! Children explored all the different sea animals and the sharks were a particular favourite! They discussed the different habitats and the children really did St Joseph’s proud with their knowledge!
Thank you to Year 3 who led our whole school Mass this week. The Gospel of the Narrow Way. Fr Louis reflected on the Gospel by making links to scoring a goal in a football match – it’s hard to do and requires making good choices – just like our journey from Earth to Heaven.
Following Prayer and Liturgy this week we shared the responses from the children’s survey. We are so proud that 100% of our children would recommend our school, feel happy and safe at St Joseph’s and learn about Jesus’ teachings.
We were to very proud to be part of the SJBCA Sustainability Summit this week. Our children from Years 5 and 6 walked to Dudley Town hall and shared the work we have been doing towards the UN goals of Zero Poverty and No Hunger.

Gymnastics experience today! The children got the opportunity to show off their talent and use a range of different equipment.
A big and special well done to Reception class today who shared their learning all about World Refugee Day today. The children reminded us how scary it must be for people who have to leave their homes and why we should treat them with dignity and kindness.

Thank you to Year 4 for leading our Mass this week. The children acted the gospel where Jesus tells us to love our enemies. We know that this is sometimes hard to do, but guided by Jesus and the through his help we can show forgiveness and love to everyone.
Thank you to Year 2 who led a wonderful assembly all about Fairtrade today. The children helped us to understand what Fairtrade means and why it is so important.
