Well done to Year 5 for sharing their Agony in the Garden Assembly this morning. Through the childrens reading, acting, use of video and music we really felt like we were with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane as he was betrayed and arrested.

Well done to Year 4 for their beautiful Last Supper Assembly. The children took us through the events of the Last Supper, the words Jesus spoke, his actions and hints of what was about to come. Thank you children.

It was lovely to welcome our local MP, Marco Longhi, to St Joseph’s today. Marco enjoyed Year 3’s Palm Sunday assembly along with meeting all of the staff and children. We hope to welcome him back to our school again soon.

Well done to everyone in Year 3 for acting out the events of Palm Sunday in their special Holy Week assembly. It was truly beautiful and helped us all to understand the celebration that took place as Jesus entered Jerusalem.

Year 6 were lucky enough to be invited to Bishop Milner to watch their production of Oliver! The children had a lovely time and it was wonderful to see some of our previous pupils so confident and brilliant on the stage!
