Today we began our Advent journey together. The empty crib awaiting the arrival of its guests. Mary, Joseph, Shepherds and Wise Men are all on their way (they’re all at different points along the windowsill)!

Our two beautiful trees! The lovely Christmas tree and an empty Jesse Tree! The Jesse Tree will soon become full of symbols as we learn about Jesus’ ancestors and place a symbol on the tree to remind us of their example to us today!

Advent begins today. A time of waiting. The first part of Advent is dedicated to preparing for Christ’s 2nd coming, a time to prepare our lives. A time to look into our hearts to make sure we’re the very best version of the person God calls us to be.
