Event - Welcome to our Polish Visitors

10 November 2015

On Tuesday 10th November St Joseph’s held a very special assembly to welcome five teachers from our partner school in Poland – SP118.

Year 6 started the assembly by sharing some of the work they had completed as part of a shared project with SP118 based on a story called The Three Sons. Year 6 shared role plays and art work along with a very special edition of Britain’s Got Talent.

Following Year 6 we had two lovely performances from the school choir followed by a lovely dance performed by the children from Year 2.

The polish teachers were overwhelmed by the confidence and talent of our children and presented us with a special picture that we can display in our school to remind us of their visit.

The Polish teachers are in England for one week and are sharing their time between St Joseph’s and St Francis Xavier Catholic Primary School in Sandwell.
