On Friday 7th March Year 6 performed their Fairtrade Assembly in recognition of Fairtrade Fortnight. The children explained the process Bananas go through before they reach Britain, from the fair trade farmer to the supermarket checkout.
During Fairtrade Fortnight all of the classes looked at why Fairtrade is so important and what we can do to help the farmers in other countries.
