Event - Brilliant to be in Britain Week

22 November 2015

The week beginning Monday 22nd November has been Brilliant to be in Britain week at St Joseph’s.

During the week the children have been learning about democracy the monarchy and rule of law along with learning about the many faith we have in Britain today, including Islam, Judaism, Sikhism and Christianity.

Year 5 and 6 visited the Islamic experience in Birmingham and learned lots about what Muslims believe and all classes have had visitors in to talk to them including Mrs Cheema, Some of our Muslim Moms, Mrs Jacobs and Ian Austin MP.

The children have had a lovely week and have learned a lot about how British law, values and religions.

Some of our moms gave a talk on Islam.

Mrs Ramaiah gave a talk on Hinduism.
